The stream of international talent flowing into #westernaustralia shows no signs of slowing down. We're truly lucky to be the destination Australian city for experienced and high-caliber individuals across various sectors. The past couple of months have been a whirlwind of fulfilling work as Journee Agency continues to support the relocation of many families making the big move from the UK to #Perth. Their destination? Exciting roles with the WA Police Force.
Let's talk about these families for a second. Brave, resilient, patient, optimistic, grateful, and equipped with a brilliant sense of humour. That's the winning combination we've been lucky to encounter! Amid the LONG list of planning, logistics, and timelines, it's the human touch that is often required. We're talking about the need for warmth, care, and understanding—a kind of virtual hug that makes all the difference.
Now, picture this: finding the perfect house in just the right neighbourhood, all within a budget that won't give you sleepless nights, figuring out commutes, scouting daycare spots, checking out schools, and looking out for the right local sports clubs. Most recruits are being posted to Central, Cannington or Armadale stations, so it's imperative they have someone on the ground who can provide knowledge on these areas.
Beyond the nitty-gritty, our real goal is to help these beautiful WAPOL families find their place in our Perth community. It's about transforming a new house into a warm and welcoming home. We're all about turning unfamiliar faces into familiar friends and making sure that each family is armed with not just a new address, but a strong sense of belonging. We introduce each of the new WAPOL families to other Journee clients who are also starting at the Academy in Joondalup.
This journey is like a rollercoaster of emotions, from that first step onto our shores to the moment the keys jingle in the front door of their new abode. We're here, every step of the way, making sure that these stories start on the right foot.
