I've had a few clients lately, ask me about volunteering in Perth!⁠

There are so many awesome organisations, charities and clubs that rely heavily on the generosity, expertise and experience of their volunteer workforce.⁠

A good place to start if you are after more info, is VolunteeringWA.

For me personally, my volunteering time is directed towards my children's schools and sporting clubs at the moment. In time though, and firmly on my future agenda, is to volunteer for Orange Sky - a long time fan of what this incredible organisation provides 🧡 ⁠

Other resources you can look into include:

• Your local library - check their notice board and chat with staff

• Your local council website

• Follow your passion - is it gardening, clothes recycling and fashion, food pantry’s and community kitchens, working with the elderly?

• For many organisations, you may need a Working with Children’s check, or National Police Clearance, to volunteer.
